Registration will grant you access to the content of the entire site including the discussion forums.

Registration is free but subject to acceptance of our terms & conditions; we request that you abide by the rules and policies detailed in the Code of Conduct below. If you agree to the terms, please check the 'I agree' checkbox. Capcom Europe reserve the right to amend or change these terms & conditions at any time.

Although the administrators and moderators of Capcom Europe will do their best to keep all objectionable material off these forums, it is impossible for us to review every post. All messages express the views of their authors, and neither the owners of Capcom Europe forums, nor Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd. (developers of vBulletin) will be held responsible for the content of any message.
By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-orientated, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violating any laws.
The owners of Capcom Europe forums reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason.


Forums - Code of Conduct

Capcom Europe forums are here to provide you with a friendly environment where you can talk about your ideas, give game play advice and converse about Capcom games, gaming in general and other topics (in the Off Topic section) with other forum members. Respect and courtesy are fundamental for healthy and fun communities, therefore we ask that you conduct yourself in a civilized manner when participating and interacting with other members.

The guidelines below describe what behaviour we expect of you and what you can expect from other member of this community. Please note that these guidelines are not exhaustive and may not address all manner of offensive or inappropriate behaviour. As such, the forum moderators and administrators shall have full discretion to address any behaviour that they feel is unacceptable or offensive. Access to these forums is a “privilege,” and not a “right.” Capcom Europe reserves the right to suspend, temporarily or permanently, your access to these forums at any time for reasons that include, but are not necessarily limited to, failure to follow the code of conduct.

We also reserve the right to evaluate each incident on a case by case basis. The action we take may be more lenient or more severe than those listed under each category depending on the circumstances.

Please keep in mind that Capcom Europe forums are open to all ages, therefore we expect all members to act and express themselves across all forum sections in a way that is adequate to a young audience.

Racial and Ethnic
Explicit and masked language and/or links to material containing such language or images that:

• Promote or support racial or ethnic hatred
• Are renowned as a racial or ethnic slur
• Refer to a symbol of racial or ethnic hatred

If a forum member participates in such actions, he/she will:

• Be given a temporary or permanent ban from the Capcom Europe forums, depending upon severity

Extreme Sexuality/Violence
Explicit and masked language and/or links to material containing such language or images that:

• Refer to extreme and/or violent sexual acts
• Refer to extremely violent real life actions
• Pornography

If a forum member participates in such actions, he/she will:

• Be permanently banned from the Capcom Europe forums

Real-Life Threats
Explicit and masked language and/or links to material containing such language or images that:

• Refer to violence in any capacity that is not directly related to the game or entertainment world

If a forum member participates in such actions, he/she will:

• Be temporarily banned from the Capcom Europe forums
• Be given a final warning, any further violations may result in a permanent ban from the community

Distribution of Real-Life Personal Information

• Releasing any real-life information about other forum members or Capcom Europe employees without their consent, including full name or contact details

If a forum member participates in such actions, he/she will:

• Be permanently banned from Capcom Europe forums

Sexual Preference
Explicit and masked language and/or links to material containing such language or images that:

• Insultingly refer to any aspect of sexual preference

If a forum member participates in such actions, he/she will:

• Be temporarily banned from the forums
• Be given a final warning, any further violations may result in a permanent ban from the forums

Posting Cheats, Hacks, Trojan Horses or Malicious Programs

• Posting links to cheats, hacks, or malicious viruses / programs
• If you would like to report information regarding cheats or hacks to Capcom Europe, please contact a forum moderator by private message or email Capcom Europe feedback@capcomeuro.com . Please do NOT post such materials in the forums.

If a forum member participates in such actions, he/she will:

• Be permanently banned from Capcom Europe forums

Impersonating a Capcom Employee, a Moderator or Administrator

• Passing yourself off as a Capcom employee or associate
• Passing yourself off as a forum Moderator to destabilize the community or undermine the Moderator’s position

If a forum member participates in such actions, he/she will:

• Be permanently banned from the forums

Posting Unreleased Content or Hacking Data Files
Language and/or links to material containing such language or images that:

• Show unreleased in-game features or images
• Discuss or display any data not available through normal game play

If a forum member participates in such actions, he/she will:

• Be permanently banned from Capcom Europe forums

Obscene or Vulgar
Explicit and masked language in posts, signatures, and/or links to material containing such language or images that:

• Are an inappropriate reference to human anatomy or bodily functions
• Are pornographic in nature

If a forum member participates in such actions, he/she will:

• Be given a temporary or permanent ban from Capcom Europe forums, depending upon severity

Inappropriate language
Explicit and masked language and/or links to material containing such language or images that:

• Are a mildly inappropriate reference to human anatomy or bodily functions
• Are otherwise considered distasteful
• Bypass the profanity filter
• using “*” as part of a swearword to bypass the profanity filter

If a forum member participates in such actions, he/she will:

• Be given a temporary or permanent ban from Capcom Europe forums, depending upon severity. Repeated infringement will result in a permanent ban.

Flaming, Harassing or Defamatory
Explicit and masked language and/or links to material containing such language or images that:

• Insultingly refer to other forum members, players, Capcom and Capcom employees or groups of people either in the public forums or by private messaging
• Insultingly refer to other Companies

If a forum member participates in such actions, he/she will:

• Be given a temporary or permanent ban from Capcom Europe forums, depending upon severity.

Harassment takes various forms and it’s not limited to the type of language used but also the intention. Targeting repeatedly a specific community member can lead to more severe action. Capcom Europe will strive to prevent any one forum member from feeling consistently uncomfortable in their forums.

Religions and/or Religious Figures
Explicit and masked language and/or links to material containing such language or images which:
• Negatively portray religions or religious figures

If a forum member participates in such actions, he/she will:

• Be given a temporary or permanent ban from Capcom Europe forums, depending upon severity

National
Explicit and masked language and/or links to material containing such language or images that:

• Promote national hatred
• Are recognized as national slurs
• Refer to symbols of national hatred

If a forum member participates in such actions, he/she will:

• Be given a temporary ban from the Capcom Europe forums, depending upon severity

Illegal Drugs or Activities
Explicit and masked language and/or links to material containing such language or images that:
• Refer to illegal substances use
• Refer to performing illegal activities, including piracy
• Refer to methods of circumventing copyright protection
• Refer to illegal copies of copyrighted music, movies, videos or any other type of media
• Ask for or provide illegal copies of copyrighted software or media

If a forum member participates in such actions, he/she will:

• Be given a temporary ban from Capcom Europe forums, depending upon severity
• Be given a permanent ban from Capcom Europe forums if promoting, divulging, advertising or encouraging piracy

Spamming and Trolling

• Repeatedly communicating the same phrase, similar phrases, pure gibberish or the same concept
• Creating threads or posts for the sole purpose of causing disturbances in the forums
• Causing conflict in threads, such as picking fights, making off topic posts that ruin the topic, insulting other posters
• Consistently making non-constructive posts
• Abusing the Reported Post feature by sending false alarms or nonsensical messages
• Posting messages intended solely to annoy or offend other members of the community
• Deliberately provoking fans of a particular system or game, whether Capcom related or not
• Consistently creating misleading topic titles
• Repeatedly asking obviously useless questions

If a forum member participates in such actions, he/she will:

• Be given a temporary or permanent ban from Capcom Europe forums, depending upon severity

Creating Duplicate Threads

• Creating threads about existing topics
• Creating multiple threads about a particular topic in more than one forum

If a member is found to have been creating duplicate threads, he/she will:

• Be given a temporary ban from Capcom Europe forums, depending upon severity

Advertising
Advertising:

• Any non-beneficial, non-Capcom related businesses, organizations or websites either in posts or signatures. Links to personal websites/blogs/fan sites may be permitted subject to permission obtained from a forum moderator. Links to charity appeals or good causes are permitted without previous authorization.

If a forum member is found to have been advertising, he/she will:

• Be given a temporary or permanent ban from Capcom Europe forums, depending upon severity

Discussing Disciplinary Actions
• Publishing posts or threads to discuss disciplinary actions taken against a forum member, including private messages and email correspondence between a forum member and a forum moderator or Capcom employee
• Posting email communication exchanged with Capcom employees

If a forum member participates in such actions, he/she will:

• Be given a temporary or permanent ban from Capcom Europe forums, depending upon severity

Circumventing a Suspension or Ban

• Creating and posting on another account
• Having someone post on your behalf

If a forum member participates in such actions, he/she will:

• Be permanently banned from posting on Capcom Europe forums

Insubordination

• Ignoring the ruling of a Moderator or Administrator.

Disregarding what they ask/invite/request you to do is against the rules and will result in a temporary or permanent ban depending on the circumstances.

IMPORTANT
Repeatedly violating any part of this Code of Conduct will result in permanent ban from our forums.
This policy is not language-restrictive. Language that falls under this policy will always be subject to the repercussions listed, whether it is inappropriate in English or any other language.
